Last Saturday, I visited two schools having a special event which both aim to raise funds for the victims of typhoon Yolanda and the recent calamity. Early morning, I was in Treston International School to join their Christmas bazaar. In the afternoon, I was at  Sacred Heart Academy to watch adorable little boys and girls having their rehearsal for a Christmas stage presentation entitle, "The Secret of Christmas Eve" happening today, December 16, 10:00 am at the 7th Floor of CAP Building in Makati.  Sacred Heart School committed in providing high standard of education and values formation and t he acclaimed   Helen O’Grady Drama Academy  team up to unleash the potentials of the children in dramatic arts. 

We watched Barbie Live last December 11 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena . I wasn't able to bring my nephews and niece because they have class that morning. I love the show! Who's not gonna love Barbie?  It started last September in Singapore and will travel Asia through 2014. Here in Manila, it was shown at the Mall of Asia Arena from December 11-15, 2013 with 11 performances only. Where you able to catch Barbie Live?  Barbie Live  has a modern storyline and amazing choreography. Anyhow, here are some photos taken during the opening. 

Goodbye weekend TV date -- Hello Nuvali!  DC and Res Toe Run get kids moving. The idea of putting up physical activities for kids and parents to enjoy is truly remarkable. The  Rumble Yard  is the  first action-inspired kids event brought to us by Res Toe Run  and  DC  in partnership with  Nuvali Solenad 2, Ayala Malls, K-Zone, Travelife, Mart Parenting, Dental First, Sharpie Pens, Faber Castell, Krispy Kreme, Kettle Korn, Off Lotion, Oishi Foods  Inc. among others. DC and Res Toe Run team up to create a weekend of physical activities for the kids. Last Saturday, my  Litel  brother and I went all the way to Solenad 2 for the first leg of the Rumble Yard. It's a  two-day  action-packed kids affair featuring several fun-filled activities such as  learning to balance on a gyroboard, busting shoe balloons, Xbox gaming, micro scooters,  ceramic painting  and a lot more. After weeks of training under Crossfit Manila (CFMNL) and Siltless Deep Sea Diving Center , it would appear that our AXE Apollo Team Philippines members are ready to go! CFMNL , with branches in Makati, the Fort, Pasig, Libis and Alabang, gave ten high intensity workouts to Evan Ray Datuin, Ramil Santos, and Chino Roque, a battery of 7 minute AMRAP (as many rounds/reps as possible) of wall balls, box jumps, squat thrusts, push-ups, and chin-ups. In doing this, the physical limits of the trio were rapidly pushed to the brink, and then expanded immediately afterwards.
