Celebrity Babylympics with Pampers and Gymboree!

Seeing former single celebrities turned happy moms, makes me feel old. :) It means it has been years since then. Nonetheless, the presence of their cute and cuddly babies erased it all. Celebrity moms and babies put their unique movement skills to the test as the active babies competed at the first ever Pampers Celebrity Babylympics.

Active babies displayed their unique talents in a series of activities. There were guests cheering and clapping in enthusiasm as babies crawled in and out of tunnels and took on the playful challenges.

Programme

Opening the Babylympics was celebrity mom and Pampers Playtime Ambassador Vina Morales with her baby Ceana, who lit the torch to signal the beginning of the games. RJ Ledesma hosted the babylympics.

Five moms and their children vied for the Pampers Babyclympics medals – Nancy Castiglione and her baby Joaquin, Chesca Garcia and her baby Kendra, Karel Marquez and baby Keylie, Jennifer Sevilla and her baby Simon Rafa and Aubrey Miles with her baby Hunter.

As the global leader in early childhood learning, Gymboree recognizes how important play is in helping to support the development of children. From sensory stimulation to problem-solving games and storytelling, our classes use play-based activities to stretch the body and mind,” said Ann Tan, President of Gymboree Play & Music.
The Baby games started with a challenge for moms on who can change diapers the quickest!

Other challenges included a ball toss, which tests a baby’s motor planning and body awareness,
and the top and bottom tunnel crawl, which showcases an infant’s spatial awareness.

Two experts in baby development from the Gymboree Play & Music and Pampers diapers. They are united in their goal to have moms and babies to play more to nurture baby’s development.

At the end of the program, Baby Hunter with mom Aubrey Miles, baby Kendra with mom Chesca Garcia, and baby Simon Rafa with mom Jennifer Sevilla finished first, second, and third places, respectively.

On Pampers

For uninterrupted play, Pampers has continued to improve its Active Baby diaper by providing an Extra-lock layer that keeps the baby’s bottom dry even under pressure.
Imagine when your baby is still learning to walk; he takes a step, maybe two, then BOOM, he falls down on his bottom. Then it will put sudden pressure on the diaper. So in this case, your diaper needs to lock the urine well and not let urine come out under baby pressure,” explained Anama Dimapilis, P&G Brand PR Manager for Pampers.

Moreover, at a recent survey done in Expo Mom (one of the biggest gathering of moms in the country) , 98% of moms voted Pampers Active Baby as the driest diaper!
I only want the best quality diaper for my baby. Pampers Active Baby is really more fit for Ceana as she is becoming more active now and it really keeps her dry!” says Vina Morales, Pampers Playtime Ambassador.

The event also launched the Pampers Active Baby Play Play Everyday Playtime course, fun playtime routines that parents can do with your baby.
Through the Pampers Active Baby Play Play Everyday playtime course, Pampers hopes to help parents better nurture their child’s development through these simple activities. It not only encourages your Active Baby to play and explore, they’re also a great way to bond with your child!” adds Dimapilis.
