Mother's Day Goes Digital

This Mother's Day, your message for mom can go digital on social networks and big billboards! Give your mom 'A Million Thanks' this Mother's Day by greeting her in big digital billboards with https://apps.facebook.com/amillionthanksmom.

A Million Thanks Mom is a Facebook App from NIDO FORTIFIED Philippines' FB Page. With promotions which just started a few days ago (April 13, 2012), it will be up until June 30, 2012.

How To Join:

  1. Go to apps.facebook.com/amillionthanksmom found at the NIDO FORTIFIED® Philippines Page on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/nidofortified.ph
  2. Register in 'A MILLION THANKS, MOM!' FB App
  3. Upload a photo of yourselves with your mom within allowed rules and specifications
  4. Input a "Mother's Day" message which starts with "A million thanks, mom for…" (not exceeding 140 characters).





Valid submissions submitted by qualified participants within the Promotion period shall be featured in the NIDO FORTIFIED® Philippines Page on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/nidofortified.ph) and select digital billboard(s) around Metro Manila for a limited period as specified in the email notification to be sent to qualified participants with valid submissions.

All approved entries will also be featured in a customized video on the Application. Card receivers will get the Application link on Mother's Day, May 13, 2012, through email and/or Facebook. Only entries that have been approved will have a corresponding video with the approved content. All users who create entries after May 13, 2012 will receive their video upon approval of their entries by organizers of the Promotion.

It is open nationwide with Digital Billboards in Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao.

When I started blogging, one of my favorite topic is about advocacy, corporate social response. Perhaps, knowing that someone is willing to help gives us hope .  The recent blog post I shared in one of my website is about " Girl Talk,Your Voice Your Move " , a campaign from Modess Philippines wherein young girls had the opportunity to speak out for the recent May election. Modess Philippines compiled these shout outs  and put it into a special edition publication called Girl Talk then sent it to our senators. I hope our senators got their copy of this book.  Not so long, I met some of our public officials, including some of our senators. Certainly, a short interview would not be enough to get to know them but it also leave us an impression of what kind of person they are - are they accommodating, sincere and do they speak well.  Mrs. Hanepbuhay ,  Senator Cynthia Villa r,  is one of the senators I met few years before the election through the Villar Foundation .
