11 new and updated galleries will greet you at the new Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center (NFSDC) this coming September 2012!
In a move to update what you have seen in the past 5 years,
Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center is ready to present their new facilities designed not only to sustain the kid's attention but to keep a high level of engagement. These are, but not limited to the following:
- Science Matters
- Earth Space
- Transportation
- Robot Zoo
- Marine Adventure

For example, the
Science Matters Gallery is an exhibit where kids can conduct simple Physics and Chemistry experiments; see how electricity, force, and motion are made; compare atomic theories; understand the concept of gravity; differentiate the phases of matter; and get to know the greatest scientist and their discoveries.

NFSDC have also put up an exhibit featuring the
Marsh Land and the specie habitat such as crocodiles to support the
Department of Environment and Natural Resources,
Protected Areas and WIldlife Bureau, and
Department of Science and Technology (
DOST) on their campaign to promote public awareness. In fact, a big photo and a model of the
World Guiness Record holder of being the longest living crocodile in the world - known as
Lolong - is also in the exhibit.
