Sacred Heart School & Helen O' Grady Drama Presents "The Secret of Christmas Eve"
Last Saturday, I visited two schools having a special event which both aim to raise funds for the victims of typhoon Yolanda and the recent calamity.
Early morning, I was in Treston International School to join their Christmas bazaar. In the afternoon, I was at Sacred Heart Academy to watch adorable little boys and girls having their rehearsal for a Christmas stage presentation entitle, "The Secret of Christmas Eve" happening today, December 16, 10:00 am at the 7th Floor of CAP Building in Makati.
Sacred Heart School committed in providing high standard of education and values formation and the acclaimed Helen O’Grady Drama Academy team up to unleash the potentials of the children in dramatic arts.
Helen O’Grady Drama Programme offers all students, 3 – 17 years, outstanding opportunities to develop enthusiasm, confidence, self-esteem, effective skills in verbal communication as well as social interaction.
During the rehearsal I noticed how children work in group and speak confidently. At first, my nephew, Eukie who's only four (4) years old was too shy to mingle with other kids but with teacher Monique facilitating the singing, dancing and acting he was able to follow instructions immediately. One tap of her drum and the kids has gotten the attention of the little ones.
It was amazing to see children at a very young age getting ready for a musical play. They were very confident, they speak articulately. Teacher Monique did an outstanding job teaching them.
The children of Sacred Heart School will sing Deck The Halls, Sleigh Ride and a Chinese performance "Ho Ho".The children will be cookies, and bakers and elves and Rudolph.

The Secret of Christmas Eve, a special Christmas stage presentation happening today, 10am at the 7th Floor of the CAP Building in Amorsolo cor. Rufino Sts. Tickets are sold at P300 each proceeds will go to the relief and rehabilitation efforts in the Visayas region.
