Celebrity Mom, Camille Prats on Bonakid Pre-School

 

I remember Camille Prats on her starring role as ‘Sarah’ in “Sarah: Ang Munting Prinsesa” a localized version of the children’s classic, “A Little Princess”. For 20 years, her growth as a child star, Camille has always been a prevalent force in local showbiz.

Today, among her many projects, Camille is a host of the widely-popular female talk show “Mars” and stars in the teleserye “Bukod Kang Pinagpala” both aired in GMA 7. But for all her accomplishments as a young actress, Camille is still most proud of her role as mother to her only son, Nathan.

“It is truly a blessing to have my son, Nathan, in my life. Being a mom is a profound experience in itself. Being fully responsible in loving and taking care of an individual can bring so much happiness in one’s life.” said, Camille.

Even as a working mom, a busy actress, between the tapings, pictorials, and interviews, Camille will always find time to motivate and play with her son.

“I really encourage Nathan to play a lot and to play outdoors. Nathan learned how to swim when he was just 2 years old. He plays soccer. Now, he wants to play basketball. All the activities that he wants to explore, I give him the opportunity to do that.”

“Nathan is always game to try new things.  I do not hold him back because the more he gets exposed to new things, the more confident he becomes.” said Camille. “I am not afraid to let him run, play, and be his active self because I know that his body is ready for these challenges. This will also allow him to know what his capabilities are and will allow him to cope better with the challenges of life that are sure to come his way.” Camille added.
