Traditional Filipino Games Played at the Goldilocks Junior Club Fun Day

My nephews enjoyed attending the Goldilocks Junior Club Fun Day held at the SM Mall of Asia last weekend. Although I was in Club Balai Isabel that time, their uncle Jonel took care of them. The kids received a free shirt, meals and other gifts from Goldilocks. This year's Goldilocks Junior Fun Club theme is about Pinoy culture so the afternoon went well filled with Filipino games and prizes.

Kits and Johan participated in various Filipino games such as sipa, tumbang preso and piko. Even if Johan is still young and cannot understand the instruction, he enjoyed watching his kuya. Johan is only 3 years old while Kits is 8 years old. I'm glad Goldilocks brings back old Filipino outdoor games that we seldom see because most kids nowadays are engaged in virtual world of screens and games. Goldilocks once again reminded us of the importance and joy of playing together.

In addition to the classic Pinoy games, they were entertained by the Bearkada Bears, who had a dance number and a photo session with the crowd. At the end the kids were very happy with the traditional pabitin game winning cool prizes and goodies.

Thank you Goldilocks for this fun-filled afternoon for our kids. To join future events visit, www.goldilocks.com.ph.
