SM Little Star 2013 Grand Finals

Last Sunday, I watched the grand finals of the nationwide kiddie talent competition, SM Little Star held at SM Centerstage in SM Mall of Asia.

The event fell on a Sunday when most of us are spending time at home, watching these smart, talented was super fun. I also salute their proud parents cheering and dancing in front of the stage during the talent portion, it was inspiring.

I also like the flow of the program - presenting the finalists, talent portion (sets of five) then question  and answer. It was spontaneous and the whole program short. The kids (both the candidates and the kids as audience) enjoyed. I saw children in the audience dancing, imitating the dance steps of the finalists.

Through SM Little Stars kids were able to show their talents,  have fun and gain confidence through various public exposures and workshops and win huge and exciting prizes.

The celebration started with a dance performance from the winners of SM Little Star in SM China followed by a parade of contestants.

Hosted by Ms. Iza Calzado. Special panel of judges include Audie Gemora, Regine Tolentino, Jerome Pobocan, Sweet Plantado and Jem Padilla.

SM Little Stars is now on its 7th year. It was fun and worth a while watching the grand finals! I loved how the kids showcased their talents and charm. Keep it up, kids! Kudos to SM Supermalls for the success of SM Little Stars. Congratulations to all the winners!
