The Rumble Yard: Kids Action-inspired Event at Nuvali
Goodbye weekend TV date -- Hello Nuvali!
DC and Res Toe Run get kids moving. The idea of putting up physical activities for kids and parents to enjoy is truly remarkable. The Rumble Yard is the first action-inspired kids event brought to us by Res Toe Run and DC in partnership with Nuvali Solenad 2, Ayala Malls, K-Zone, Travelife, Mart Parenting, Dental First, Sharpie Pens, Faber Castell, Krispy Kreme, Kettle Korn, Off Lotion, Oishi Foods Inc. among others. DC and Res Toe Run team up to create a weekend of physical activities for the kids.
Admission was free. Kids were encouraged to complete the passport stamps then were given a loot-bag. Moreover, children wearing DC shoes or apparel enjoyed exclusive treats such as freebies, delightful and pretty DC cupcakes and biscuits.
Upon entering, we were given a passport with several activities to complete. One of the staff at the Rumble Yard assisted Litel going to the photo booth for the first activity - InstaSkating. Posing while balancing on a skateboard. At first, I noticed that he's a bit shy to strike a pose but it unleashed the confidence in my little boy. Later on, he would tell he's going back to the photo booth with his new found friend CJ for their souvenir photo. As a sister, I was happy to see him enjoying at the event.
Then, there was ceramic painting. They were given ceramic miniature DC skateboard decks to paint. The event highlight the artistic side of every child. Projects were displayed in the area.
Xbox gaming was his favorite though. Personally, I would be happy if he will spend more time in other physical activities but I realized it's okay since we don't have Xbox at home. Obviously, a lot of kids now are enjoying computer games.
The scooter circuit area was busy that afternoon.

Last Saturday, my Litel brother and I went all the way to Solenad 2 for the first leg of the Rumble Yard. It's a two-day action-packed kids affair featuring several fun-filled activities such as learning to balance on a gyroboard, busting shoe balloons, Xbox gaming, micro scooters, ceramic painting and a lot more.

Most of all, it gave an enriching experiences for kids in sport, physical activities and active play. It inspire kids and parents to go out, interact and spent more time together in play and other activities that will develop the child's emotional and intellectual intelligence.
