Lent started last week with the traditional Ash Wednesday . The 40 day period of Lent represents a time for deep and prayerful reflection has started. Here in the Philippines, almost 90 percent of the population belongs to the Roman Catholic faith. Parent's topmost concern will always be their children's safety and security . I admire how mom personally test products before they allow their kids to use it. Perhaps a good example of this is testing the warm bath with our elbows to make sure the water is not too hot for the baby. There are a lot of things parents prepare when they get pregnant up to the delivery of the baby - baby clothes, bathing essentials, crib, and even car seats.

Every pregnant woman deserves proper medical care and attention. I still remember when we provide maternal and child education to communities to give health teaching about pregnancy and motherhood. A week ago, I attended a seminar about  Optimal Birth Outcome at Dr. Jesus Delgado Memorial Hospital in Kamuning, Quezon City.
