Paint and Celebrate: Microsoft Philippines & McDo Partnership

We attended several Mother's Day event - there's an intimate gathering courtesy of Ford Philippines. The most recent was the partnership of  Microsoft Philippines and McDonald’s Philippines, Paint and Celebrate, a campaign where kids use technology in expressing their love and gratitude to their moms last Mother’s Day.

More and more kids are engage over the internet, mobile phone and other touch devices but moms can still receive heartwarming greeting cards from the creative hands of their kids though the 'Paint and Celebrate’. 

Happened on all weekends of May from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. With every purchase of any value meal and Happy meals, kids were given a coupon with instructions to go to the Windows 8 station to create their masterpiece. By end of May, 60 winners will each take home a McCelebration Party worth Php5,000.00. For the grand draw, one lucky kid will win a brand new Acer Windows 8 device. All winners will be determined through an electronic raffle. The artworks of all the winners will be posted as well in the Facebook pages of Microsoft Philippines and McDonald’s Philippines. 


“The touch devices and apps we use and access nowadays can be a tool for parents and their kids to learn more, bond, and share fun moments together,” said Mae Rivera Moreno, Windows Business Lead of Microsoft Philippines. “We are delighted that McDonald’s is a partner in making Mother’s Day celebration more special by bringing out the creativity of our kids through Windows 8.”
Windows 8 has the Family Safety feature that enables parents to monitor and manage the sites and apps that their kids can access.
